The starting point is next to the 9news building. It's a gravel road of around 3km, and the route is called Powerful Owl. I guess it's quite popular for family hiking and can get quite crowded on weekends. The gravel road is steep in some parts, but mostly manageable and enjoyable. There isn't much climbing if you start like in this video; it's mostly downhill.
At the end of the gravel road, when you arrive at Silky Oaks Picnic area, you just follow the road until it finishes at 9news, completing the loop. There is a dedicated bike lane on some sections of the road, and then it's just a regular road, but it's fine since it's in the mountains, so there aren't many cars.
Overall, it was a very good ride, but next time I would prefer to go on a weekday instead of the weekend.
